Google Ads Setup — from £165

Focused Google Search campaigns built to turn active demand into enquiries

I set up and improve Google Search campaigns for small and service-based businesses. The work connects the searches you target, the ads people see and the page they reach—so your budget is focused on relevant demand rather than clicks for their own sake.

What Google Ads should actually do

Buy access to relevant demand—not simply buy more website traffic

Paid search can place your business in front of people at the moment they are actively looking. But a click only has value when the search is relevant, the offer makes sense and the landing page gives the visitor enough confidence to act.

Reduce avoidable waste

Use tighter themes, negative keywords and controlled targeting to limit irrelevant searches where possible.

Create measurable actions

Connect advertising with calls, forms or other useful conversions instead of judging performance by click volume alone.

A joined-up campaign

The search, the advertisement and the landing page must tell the same story

Many campaigns waste money before the visitor reaches the website. The targeting is too broad, unrelated services are bundled together or the advertisement promises something the landing page does not properly explain.

I build campaigns around clear intent groups. The keyword theme influences the advertisement, and the advertisement leads to the most relevant available page. This creates a more coherent journey from the initial search to the enquiry.

If the existing page is likely to undermine the campaign, I will tell you before encouraging you to spend more on traffic.

Choose the support you need

Campaign setup first, with ongoing management available where useful

The £165 starting price is for campaign setup—not your advertising budget and not unlimited ongoing management. The exact scope is confirmed before work begins.

Quoted by scope

Ongoing Management

Continued review and adjustment of searches, negative keywords, ads, targeting, budgets and conversion performance.

Best when: the campaign has sufficient activity and you want somebody to interpret the data and refine it regularly.

Optional support

Landing Page Improvement

Practical website changes or a focused landing page where the current page does not explain the offer or support enquiries strongly enough.

Best when: the campaign can generate relevant clicks but the website is likely to lose them.

Google Ads Setup

What is included in a focused campaign setup

Setup starts from £165. Larger service ranges, multiple locations, additional campaigns or extensive tracking requirements may need a broader quote.

Suitability and offer review

Review the service, target locations, likely customer intent and landing page before building the campaign.

Keyword and intent research

Identify relevant searches and organise them around clear service themes instead of treating every keyword equally.

Campaign and ad-group structure

Build a logical account structure that connects related searches with relevant advertisements.

Advertisement writing

Create search advertisements and appropriate assets that describe the offer clearly and support a relevant click.

Negative keyword foundations

Add initial exclusions intended to reduce searches that are clearly irrelevant, unsuitable or unlikely to become customers.

Location and schedule settings

Configure the agreed service areas, campaign timing and other practical targeting controls.

Conversion tracking foundations

Set up or connect appropriate measurable actions where the website, account access and consent setup allow it.

Landing page recommendations

Identify important gaps between the advertisement and the page, with improvements quoted separately if implementation is needed.

Where paid-search performance is won or lost

A campaign needs more than keywords and a daily budget

Results depend on the complete chain: whether useful demand exists, which searches trigger the ads, what the advertisements communicate, what each click costs and whether the website converts a suitable visitor.

My approach is deliberately practical. I focus the initial scope, make the campaign understandable and establish the data needed to make better decisions after launch.

01

Demand

Are suitable customers actually searching for this service?

02

Relevance

Do the search, advertisement and landing page match one another?

03

Economics

Can the value of a genuine customer support the likely advertising cost?

04

Conversion

Does the page give the right visitor enough reason to make contact?

Who this is for

Best suited to businesses with a clear offer and existing search demand

Google Ads is not automatically right for every business. It is most useful when people already search for the service, a new customer has enough value and the business can respond to enquiries properly.

Local service businesses

You serve defined locations and want to appear for relevant searches when potential customers need the service.

Businesses needing earlier visibility

You want to test or generate demand while organic search visibility develops over a longer period.

Businesses able to track enquiries

You can record calls, forms and customer outcomes so campaign decisions are connected to business results.

The process

A direct process from suitability review to campaign launch

You work directly with me throughout. Before building anything, I confirm the intended scope, the setup cost and what access or information I need from you.

01

Assess the fit

We discuss the offer, customer value, locations, existing website, likely demand and available advertising budget.

02

Research and build

I research the searches, create the campaign structure, write the ads and configure the agreed targeting.

03

Check and launch

We confirm the campaign, landing page, billing and tracking foundations before the advertisements are enabled.

04

Review and refine

If ongoing management is agreed, real search and conversion data guide exclusions, targeting, ads and budget decisions.

FAQ

Common questions about Google Ads

What does the £165 starting price cover?

It covers a focused Google Search campaign setup for an agreed service and target area. Broader campaigns, multiple service groups, extensive tracking or additional landing-page work may require a larger fixed quote.

Is the advertising budget included?

No. The setup or management fee pays for my work. Your advertising spend is paid separately and directly to Google through your own account.

How much should I spend on Google Ads?

That depends on the service, locations, likely click costs and the amount of data needed to assess performance. I will discuss a sensible starting range rather than applying one budget to every business.

Will I own the Google Ads account?

Yes. The campaign should sit in an account you can access, with your billing paid directly to Google. You retain the account history and campaign data.

Can you guarantee enquiries?

No. Google Ads can create relevant visibility, but results also depend on demand, competition, budget, the offer, the website and how enquiries are handled. I do not promise a fixed number of leads.

How quickly can Google Ads work?

Advertisements can begin receiving impressions and clicks soon after approval, but useful performance data takes time to accumulate. An early click is not the same thing as a profitable campaign.

Do I need a good website first?

You need at least one credible, relevant page with a clear offer and enquiry route. If the website is likely to waste paid traffic, I can recommend improvements before or alongside the campaign.

How much does ongoing management cost?

Ongoing management is quoted according to the number of campaigns, activity level and work required. It is agreed separately from the initial setup and from your Google advertising spend.
