My Work

Selected Client Work

Digital work for real, owner-led businesses

I have worked with businesses across recruitment, property, facilities, therapy, wellbeing, hospitality and the creative industries. Some projects involve a complete website; others focus on content, search visibility, paid advertising or the practical support needed after launch.

The common aim is to make the business easier to understand, more credible online and better equipped to turn attention into genuine enquiries.

What the work has involved

Different projects need different kinds of improvement

A portfolio should show more than a row of finished logos. These are the practical areas clients have needed help with across different stages of their businesses.

01

New business websites

Turning an early idea, service and collection of source material into a credible website with a clear structure and enquiry route.

02

Website redesigns

Improving websites that feel dated, generic or difficult to use so they represent the standard of the business more convincingly.

03

Local growth foundations

Connecting the website with local research, Google Business Profile support, measurement and clearer routes to contact.

06

Practical ongoing support

Helping with hosting, domains, website changes, additional pages and the smaller technical jobs that still matter after launch.

Experience across different sectors

The visual style changes. The commercial questions remain similar.

A recruitment company should not look like a therapy practice, and an artist should not be forced into the same structure as a property business. The design and language should fit the audience while still answering the questions every visitor brings.

Professional and technical services

Clear service positioning, credible presentation and straightforward routes for employers, clients or commercial buyers to make contact.

Therapy, wellbeing and personal services

Calmer, more personal websites that communicate trust, boundaries and the experience of working with the practitioner.

Property, creative and hospitality businesses

Stronger visual presentation supported by clear practical information, rather than relying on appearance without explanation.

What sits behind the finished work

A practical process with direct responsibility

The visible website is only the final layer. Stronger work usually begins with understanding the business, deciding what the visitor needs to know and agreeing what can realistically be achieved within the scope.

01

Understand before designing

I look at the services, audience, existing material and practical business goal before deciding how the page should look.

02

Keep the scope clear

The pages, features, revisions, price and responsibilities are agreed so both sides understand what the project includes.

03

Stay directly involved

I handle the planning and implementation directly rather than outsourcing the work after the initial conversation.

An honest portfolio

The work is real, but not every outcome can be reduced to a dramatic statistic

Website performance is influenced by the offer, reputation, traffic, follow-up, pricing and wider market—not the design alone. For that reason, I do not attach invented conversion increases or unprovable revenue claims to a project simply to make the portfolio sound more impressive.

What I can show is the quality of the presentation, the clarity of the structure and the range of businesses that have trusted me with part of their online presence. If you want to understand how I would approach your situation, send me the existing website and the problem you want to solve.

FAQ

Questions about my previous work

Does every logo represent a complete website project?

No. The scope has varied. Some clients needed website work, while others needed content, SEO, advertising or practical digital support.

Do you specialise in one industry?

No. I mainly work with small, owner-led and service-based businesses. The design and content are adapted to the audience and commercial situation rather than copied between sectors.

Can you show me work relevant to my business?

Yes. Tell me what sector you are in and what you need help with. Where appropriate, I can point you towards the most relevant public examples.

Can you improve an existing website?

Yes. A project does not always require starting again. I can assess whether the current website can be improved through better structure, presentation, content or individual pages.

Your project

Want to improve how your business comes across online?

Send me your current website—or tell me if you do not have one yet—and explain what you want the business to achieve. I will suggest a sensible starting point.
